Community Addiction Studies and Intercultural Studies
The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to work under supervision in range of social care settings or to progress to further and or higher education and training.
Award: QQI Level 5 Component Certificate in Community Addiction Studies and Intercultural Studies
Duration: January to May 2026, part-time, 8 hours per week Monday and Wednesday 9.30am to 3.30pm
Learners can complete modules on an individual basis
Modules Included:
Community Addiction Studies, 5N1834 Monday 9.30a.m.- 11.30a.m. and Wednesday 9.30a.m.- 12.45p.m.
Intercultural Studies, 5N0765 Monday 11.45a.m.-3.30p.m and Wednesday 1.30p.m.-3.30p.m.
Course Requirements:
For those with English as a second language, a good standard of both written and spoken English is required.

Duration: Academic Year, part-time, two mornings per week, Wednesday and Thursday 9.30am - 11.30am.

Painting 4N1871 January to May
Drawing 4N1878 September to December
Course Requirements:
It is recommended that participants have an interest in art.
