This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge, competence and expertise to develop a range of employment skills. The course is suitable for those who are preparing for the world of work, a career in retail, IT, customer service or who want to progress on to further education and training.
The course will focus on customer service skills, workplace safety, career planning, work experience and IT.
The course is fulltime over two years and provides students with a QQI level award in Employment Skills – Ordinary level Leaving Cert equivalent.

This course is designed to give all students the skills needed to progress to further training and/ or employment in the construction industry.
The course mixes both practical and academic aspects of construction skills, along with providing literacy and numeracy support, Information Technology, career guidance and advocacy. Hands on tasks are completed in a very well equipped workshop with modern machinery, supported by theory and IT classes all facilitated by qualified subject experts.
